Description
Project Proposal:
Within 2 months of the course start date, based upon your initial Project discussion with your sponsor, submit the Project Proposal to your mentor for approval.
Once a project has been approved by the mentor, it is recommended that you complete the Project Charter Template provided or use your own in-house project charter template if your organization has one (Project Charter will be Appendix 1 of your Final Project).
Remember! Your Mentor is available to support you in the course material and in the development of your project.
Final Project:
There are four (4) deliverables to the final project.
- Project Proposal - must be submitted to your mentor within 1 month of the start date of the course
- Project Charter (Appendix 1 in Final Project)
- Executive Summary (First page of the Final Project)
- Final Project Report (including the Black Belt report cover sheet and Student and Financial Representative Sign Off sheet)
The executive summary is a summary of your lean journey and provide an overview of the results achieved. It should contain the following sections: strategic relevance, impact on organization – both qualitative and quantitative, challenges encountered, tools used and deliverables.
